It may still feel like summer, but across Whitehouse ISD, our teams have been hard at work preparing for another great school year. Administrators, principals, teachers, and staff are getting campuses ready, making plans, and looking forward to welcoming our Wildcats back in just a few short weeks.

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, our theme is Serve. Serving our students, serving one another, and serving our community have always been at the heart of what makes Whitehouse ISD special. One Town. One Family. One Whitehouse. is more than a slogan; it is the commitment we make to care for, encourage, and support one another every day.

Service is not measured by grand gestures. It is found in the everyday moments that define a school community: a teacher staying after class to help a student, a bus driver greeting children with a smile, a custodian taking pride in creating a welcoming campus, a parent volunteering at a school event, or a student choosing kindness when no one is watching. Those moments matter, and together they shape the culture our children experience every day.

Our commitment extends beyond serving students. We want every family to feel like a valued member of our team. Your voice matters. Your partnership matters. Your child's success is our shared purpose, and we want you to know that we're on your team. When schools and families work together, students thrive.

As superintendent, I believe our greatest strength has always been our people. We are educators, parents, students, and community members united by a common purpose: to help every child grow, learn, and succeed. That work requires trust, collaboration, and a servant's heart.

Thank you for entrusting us with your children. It is a privilege to serve your family, and we look forward to partnering with you throughout the year. Together, let's make the 2026–2027 school year one that reflects the very best of Whitehouse ISD by choosing to serve in all that we do.

Welcome Back. Let’s Gooo!

There are a few important transportation updates for the new school year. Families who need bus service must request transportation through Returning Student Verification in Skyward Family Access. As you complete your student's online registration, be sure to indicate whether they will ride the bus. This information helps our Transportation Department build safe and efficient routes before school begins.

New this year, Whitehouse ISD will use My Ride K-12, giving families secure access to bus stop information, estimated pickup and drop-off times, and real-time bus location. As routes are finalized, be sure to check My Ride K-12 and Skyward for the most up-to-date transportation information.

One of our district goals is for every student to leave Whitehouse ISD with a plan for what comes next. That’s why Think Ahead Thursday is back this year. Each Thursday, staff are encouraged to wear a college, career, or military shirt, and students are welcome to join in too. Students don’t have to wear jeans, but we’re always glad to see those “think ahead” shirts around our campuses. It’s a simple way to keep conversations about life after graduation happening all year long.

We’ll kick off the school year with one of our favorite Whitehouse traditions! Meet the Cats is Monday, August 17, at Wildcat Stadium. Food trucks will open at 5:30 p.m., followed by team and organization recognitions beginning at 7:00 p.m. Come out and help us celebrate our student-athletes, band, cheer, spirit groups, and Wildcats as we get ready for another great year.
