Resource/Inclusion Teacher
I am a 2002 graduate of Atlanta High School in Atlanta, Texas. I moved to Tyler as soon as I graduated to attend The University of Texas at Tyler. I graduated from UT Tyler in 2006.
I hold a teaching certificate for teaching Special Education to students in ESCE through 12th grade. I also hold a secondary certificate in reading.
I am proud to say I have spent all of my teaching career in Whitehouse ISD! I started teaching for the district in January of 2007. I currently teach reading, writing, and math for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade qualifying for Special Education services. We provide direct instruction as well as in-class support to students based on their individual needs.
I have been married to my husband, Jason, since 2006. We have three beautiful children who are proud to be Whitehouse Wildcats, too! We also have two spoiled dogs named Sammy and Sadie!
When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. We love the beach, swimming, camping, watching movies, and eating Mexican food together as a family! I am an avid reader, and I hope to instill that same love of reading into the students I work with.
If you ever have any questions or concerns about your student we’re serving, please don’t hesitate to ask! We are here to help make sure each child gets the most from their educational experience at Cain.
